Dishonesty amongst Blighty’s fair sex is not as bad as we had feared – it seems only 60% of Englishwomen married over the last year got those manacles on their man by lying to him!
Apparently someone went out and polled 3600 brides, and after they recovered it was made known that a third of the honorable ladies had bullied their men into getting engaged by threatening to walk out of his life (apparently some men still take that as a threat), and a further seventeen percent sent themselves flowers from a non-existent rival for their dubious affections. Ten percent of these slags even went so far as to get pregnant or fake pregnancy in order to manipulate the man into becoming their legal property!
And the young women are apparently the worst, with almost a third of brides between 16 and 20 having deliberately gotten pregnant or faked a pregnancy in order to ensnare their unfortunate fly.
Not surprisingly, 62 percent of brides claim there was no sex on the wedding night, probably because the groom was sitting on the edge of the bed, head in hands, lamenting that he had ever set sights on such a woman.
