UK – Women More Violent, Men Less So
According to this Daily Mail article Old Blighty’s gals are being arrested in record numbers for acts of violence.
According to the statistics for 2007/2008, 250 UK women are arrested every day for a crime of violence – that’s one act of violence committed by the UK’s women every six minutes! More in fact, given that these are only the arrests, you can bet that people beaten up by a woman are less likely to report than those beaten up by a man, especially if the victim is male.
The figures also show an increase of one thousand arrests on the previous year, and that this is the second year during which women were more likely to be arrested for violence than for any other crime! My, how the Brits must yearn for the good old days when the most common female crime was their senile old Gran sneaking into Harrods and doing a Winona Ryder with an expensive tea cozy…
And what’s been happening with the blokes, then? Why, they’ve apparently gotten nicer, with male arrests for violence dropping by 10 thousand during the 2007/2008 period! In fact, 35 % of all arrests of members of the Gentle Sex are for crimes such as manslaughter and grievous bodily harm, whereas such crimes account for only 30% of men arrested!
Despite the fact that since 2002 the number of UK women arrested for violence has more than doubled, there is no need to fear for the reputation of the unfair sex as there is always some powerful male twit ready to make excuses for them…

“That an increasing number of women are resorting to crime, including fraud, drugs and violence, is a damning indictment on this Government’s failure to get to grips with a range of social problems – from drug abuse to family breakdown.”
See, it’s not the women’s fault, it’s society and Labor that are to blame! Of course, our chivalrous jackass neglects to jump in with an addendum stating that these excuses could also be given for crimes by males, but then nobody was expecting him to. Notice also the use of the word “resort” as if they were somehow driven to it, as if kicking in someone’s head is something a woman’s just gotta do these days.
The truth of the matter is most likely that women are by nature more violent than men, and that as the mechanisms that have previously been used to teach women to stay out of knife-fights weaken, the only thing that can be expected is that more and more will give in to their natures – give them another twenty years and women will be committing most of the violence in developed countries.

I doubt such an apparently conservative site would be interested in my liberal oinkings, especially when delivered in my characteristically wacky and free-wheeling style – this is why I haven’t submitted anything to Misandry Review even though its my first internet stop every day. Also, i find that i start censoring myself when away from my own blog lest i have comments or submissions rejected for being too provocative, whereas here I can just let it fly!
What I would like to know is how the Spearhead got to almost 70 thousand visits per month after just six months online – that puts them ahead of everyone except MND!
MND is in a bit of a bind at the moment. The ‘Editorial Standards’ are so wierd and idio(t)syncratic that an article from the Quadrant written by a leading Australian journalist cannot make the grade.
