Girls Premiere

As a counter to the anti-boy hate-speech put out there by filth like Todd Goldman of “Boys are stupid” fame I have decided to start my own weekly series of cartoons called “Girls” which is about, strangely enough, little girls.

Given that neither Porky nor I are scumbags like Goldman, this series will be fairly gentle – these are not meant to make little girls feel bad about themselves, much less are they meant to promote gender based hate crimes as Goldman’s work does. What this is about is giving boys a little ammunition in a conflict that has all too sadly filtered down to their age group, and to let them know that at least some adults out there realize that little girls are far from perfect. It is also my hope that some of the adults who feel outraged by “Girls” will stop and ask themselves why they aren’t outraged by the far more common stabs at little boys – if you don’t object to Bart Simpson and Chris Griffin you have no right to object to “Girls”.

So here it is, my attempt at providing a countercultural answer to the hatred of males put out there by the mainstream. I hope you get some none-too-mean-spirited laughs out of it. Take it with some salt, and if you’re a woman who finds it offensive I say don’t take it personally, it’s just a much needed counter balance to the way boys are portrayed. If you’re a feminist who objects, to you I say please go lie down on some railway tracks.
