"Men's Issues From The Viewpoint of a Progressive Swine."

MRm! Magazine Launched

MRm first issue
Factory, who can justifiably lay claim to being Canada’s angriest MRA, has decided to become the Gloria Steinem of the men’s movement by donning a Playboy bunny outfit and spouting evil lies! Well, okay the comparison isn’t that apt, but he has started  a men’s rights magazine called MRm!The mag is in pdf format and can be downloaded from Men’s News Daily, and it’s free, gratis, butkus.

Having had a look through the first issue i can tell you that it is a very good starting point for anyone new to the movement and it’s issues, including as it does articles by such well known men as Angry Harry, Paul Elam, Fidelbogen and Amfortas.

I especially liked Angry Harry’s call for male bloggers to get interested in men’s issues  - after all, we make up the majority of political bloggers yet most of us don’t give a toss about these issues! How many female political bloggers don’t mention what few woes women still have? How many blacks don’t spend a huge chunk of their time going on about race issues? Christ, i’ve seen bloggers on celebrity news sites get all uppity about DV (thanks to Chris Brown) and race (thanks to Al Jolson wannabe Harry Connick Jr) and these aren’t even political blogs! Yet here we are, with most political bloggers being men who clearly don’t give a damn about mens issues! Very bizarre state of affairs indeed.

MRm! can also be downloaded directly from a file sharing service here.

I am very pleased to be associated with this great effort that Factory undertook off his own bat. It is a milestone.

It NEEDS people for the second edition. It needs articles; it needs comments; it needs YOU – all of you who read this.

It is indeed a milestone and i hope that one day MRm! is big enough to go hard copy and be sold at newsstands.

  • Amfortas says:

Meanwhile…. any chap can download the HQ version and print it. Then leave copies in places where other chaps can see it.

  • Porky says:

Yes, leaving it where it can be found is better than handing it out as defenses are down when you have time to kill in a cafeteria or doctors surgery and need something to read. on the other hand when someones handing mags out on the street a lot of people will either avoid them or chuck the mag as soon as they’re out of sight.
