		<description>The Opposition, Porky is a Professional role. They oppose. That&#039;s their job. They oppose whatever the Power party says and does.

It does not mean that they would not do precisely the same when they are in Power.

So they rant - very quietly and with fewer regional accents - against PC and women-only short-lists, not because they don&#039;t like it but because they are paid to object. They do not have to think; simply oppose.

But when they do think, they think, &quot;Who are the majority of voters&quot;? 

You see, it is nothing to do with ambition or achievement by men, or about women&#039;s lack of propensity to stand to Parliament, it is about ego-stroking the larger number of electors.
