Hiram Monserratte Cleared of Slashing Girlfriend.

Much to the chagrin of feminist loons everywhere, Hiram Monserrate, the New York senator whom the jackbooted stormtroppers of New York NOW wanted fired, then locked up, then placed in a rocket and sent hurtling into the sun, has been cleared of all but the least serious charge in relation to his girlfriend’s Karla Giraldo’s face slashing.

Monserrate has been convicted of misdemeanor assault but that was for pulling her along the corridor in order to get her to the hospital (what a bastard!) not for the face slashing, which both Monserrate and Karla Giraldo have maintained was an accident.

One would expect decent people to think that since Justice William M. Erlbaum, who spent many hours looking at the evidence came to this conclusion that this should be the end of it, but no, both the feminist thuggettes at NOW and one of his fellow Democrats – Liz Krueger- want him to quit his job. Unfortunately for the Femifascists the Dems have a very narrow majority, and they need Hiram Monserrate to stay, otherwise we could almost certainly except him to be sacrificed on the altar of Womanism for (shock! horror!) pulling a woman by the arm!

As for the famous security camera video, all it shows is Monserrate rather roughly pulling Giraldo out of the building, presumably to his car. Now keep in mind, this a former cop, not a spindly necked academic, not the kind of man who would spend five minutes trying to convince a panicked woman to do the obvious, but rather just grab her, take her to the hospital and let her calm down later. Frankly, given that the judge convicted him based on this video, I expected something a lot worse than what we see and find it rather disturbing that he has to wear a conviction for something so minor. I guess the moral is that if your girlfriend  ever freaks out at being injured, don’t be at all rough while trying to get her help, lest you be convicted of assaulting her. Of course, if she then bleeds to death you’ll be charged with some form of negligent homicide so i guess you have to flip a coin and take your chances!

As you may recall, Manhattan Manatee Marcia Pappas wanted Justice William M. Erlbaum to throw the book at Monserrate, and now that the book has turned out to be a mere pamphlet you can expect the howling weasels to go after the Judge’s career, for such is life on America’s “liberal” East Coast.
