I forgot to move this video from the old Porky’s at Blogspot, but was reminded a couple of days ago while watching a documentary on Leonard Cohen wherein it was mentioned that “First We Take Manhattan” had been influenced by the Pet Shop Boys’ “It’s A Sin” which is the song used in this video, so here i am posting it on the new site. It’s a good, brief intro to all the crap men and boys have to put up with these days.
And in case you’re wondering what the hell i’m talking about, here’s the video for “First We Take Manhattan”, which Cohen has described as a look inside the mind of an extremist, you know like Radical Islamists, Klansmen and Feminists…
…and here is “It’s A Sin” which is about the joys of being a boy in a Catholic school, where apparently just about anything is considered a sin.
